Barnes and Noble book fair for Emily's school + alot of people + a cranky 2 year old that didn't nap + a thomas train table that my boys didn't want to leave = one crazy mommy.
Today was Emily's first day back at school after 5 days, so things were a little crazy this morning. After I got Emily on the bus, I took the boys to Target and walked around for a little while. We got Toy Story bubble bath and 6 punch balloons....the kids love them. Then we went to AC Moore because I wanted to make a shirt for Emily to wear to school tomorrow, because it's her 100th day and in kindergarten they make a big deal out of it. After I got all necessary items, the boys wanted to go to Pet Smart next door. After that we came home and then it was time to get Em off the bus. After school, Emily went to her friends' Callies house all afternoon. Alex had his friend Owen over from 12-3. Then Alex and Nicky(so I thought) took a nap. I heard noise in the bedroom and went in to find Nicky naked with carpet powder all over his room. I forgot to take it out earlier. MISTAKE. He had also peed on his floor and spilled some water on the powder which had turned into a rock on the carpet and was a pain to get out. Did I forget to mention all the wipes he had torn to little tiny pieces all over, EVERYWHERE? Then he came downstairs and figured out how to get past the parental control lock on the tv and ordered a movie called Black Death....The same movie he already ordered here(twice, hence the need for the aforementioned parental lock), at mom-mom's, and at Nathan's......He is one smart cookie..the next Bill Gates! Then I went to Barnes and noble which was absolute chaos.......Now I'm home and my house is a mess, so I should go start cleaning it. However, it could always wait til tomorrow, right? Please no unannounced visits tonight or tomorrow, ok? I'll try to get a picture of Emily in her shirt tomorrow and post it when I can!
p.s- I should mention that Alex was not sleeping in his room, but in mine while Nicky was wreaking havoc in there and once I walked in and saw the carpet powder everywhere, I took him out and did not leave him in there to breathe it in!
