CAN'T FIND...

MY CAMERA!!!! Ugh. That's why I haven't posted. I haven't had a chance to thoroughly look for it, but it's not in it's usual places. I think I'll go look for it now actually.......Nicky is napping and Alex and Emily are playing nicely together at the moment, which may not last for long, so- gotta go!!! Wish me luck. Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

What Makes a Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so,
He called it ...   DAD!!!

Happy Father's Day to the most wonderful husband and father in the whole entire world. We're so lucky to have you.

NOTHING SPECIAL...

Just got done watching the Flyers lose. They really know how to put you on the edge of your seat!!! Anyway, I was just thinking about what a lady said to the kids and I earlier today in the store. Nicky was in the front of the shopping cart and Emily and Alex were in the back. This lady stopped us with a such a shocked look on her face that I thought something was wrong! BUT-- all she wanted to say was, and I quote................"Wow, I have never seen such beautiful and well behaved children." She kept looking at us with this shocked look on her face until we were out of sight. While I already know they are the most beautiful and well behaved children- it's still nice to hear a complete stranger say so!!! So that's what I was just thinking about after the Flyers lost. Then I started to get up and look around at the different messes the kids made today........and as I clean up each one before daddy gets home, I will remember their sweet, smiling little faces as they made each mess......playing and giggling along the way!!! And as my sweet little angels lay sleeping in their freshly cleaned rooms, (that I did 20 minutes before they went to bed, right after baths, in a rush before the Flyers came on), I think about how incredibly lucky I am to be their mom and how sad I will be when I don't have their little messes to clean up after!!! Sweet dreams little ones..........I hope tomorrow is filled with plenty of  messes for mommy to clean!!! I hope it's also filled with time to go food shopping too, because I really need to do that!!! Goodnight everyone!!!
