Alex's last day of Tball...

After Alex's last game we headed straight to the baseball complex for hot dogs and trophies....It was very cute...Alex seemed to really love tball and he is already asking to play again next spring! Hopefully, he'll do a little more playing next year and a little less dancing and playing in the dirt! Alex and Emily both decided to do fall soccer, so I signed them both up....We'll see the fun that brings!

Alex's Trip to Kindergarten...

I am sooo behind on blogging....I've been very busy chasing 3 kids, who all seem to be going different directions lately...And Nicky's direction is RIGHT BEHIND ME...ALL THE TIME!!! Anyway, back in March, Alex had a bus trip to visit his kindergarten so he could get a basic idea in his head. Emily did this as well. It's very cute and he had alot of fun on the bus....

Earth Day 2012

After Alex's tball game last Saturday morning, we went to the library for a little bit and then headed to the park for the Earth Day Celebration. The kids love going and walking around. There are so many different vendors and people handing out free stuff. The kids each got a pansy and an herb to plant. They got cookies, frisbees, bags, lemonade and coloring books. There is also live music which is fun. We picked a spot near the stage and the kids had fun dancing and playing with their new frisbees. We went to the playground afterwards to play and dig in the sand. After that we went home and Emily left for the zoo with her friend Callie. The boys and I stayed outside and played with the hose and Crayola color bubbles....which I swore we would never play with again after last summer's mess....But- who cares- you're only a kid once!  By the end of the day I had some dirty, messy, and blue painted, but HAPPY children and that's all that matters! We came inside to take a bath and then went outside to play a little more. Nicky was passed out by 6:30pm. There was no waking him up. He slept all the way until the next morning.....and we started all over again. I can't wait til summer!!!

My Little Ball Player!

These are some pictures I took before and during Alex's first tball game. I'm so glad he asked to sign up, because we love going to his games and he loves playing. He has learned alot since he first started. He has learned how to properly throw a baseball and how to "catch" grounders in his glove. Sometimes he gets a little distracted in the outfield, (dancing, turning his back, playing with dirt), but all the players seem to lose focus at time. As long as he loves it, that's all that matters!

Guess What?

Guess what sweet little boy had his very first t-ball practice today and guess what mommy forgot her camera sitting on the table? I promise to take pictures next practice which is on Saturday the 24th. It was the cutest thing I ever saw! He loved it......However, while practicing catching with the glove tomorrow, remind me to teach my son how to chew gum....Today was his first time having it. His coach gave everyone a piece for a good practice. He told me that he loved it so much he swallowed it........He was quite proud of himself though because I've told him gum is for big kids before and so he thought he was pretty special. Emily and Nicky sat with me on the blanket. I think next time I will bring her homework so we can do it there. I'm so proud of my little guy. I hope he loves playing baseball as much as his Daddy does!!!

Happy 5th Birthday Alexander Matthew!

Alex- you were my first sweet, curly-haired little boy. Now you are 5 and I can't wrap my mind around that. You have grown up so much recently. You are doing great in pre-k. You never get in trouble and always listen to your teacher. I'm amazed at the papers you come home with, because when I try to get you to do the same things at home- you want nothing to do with it. As long as you are good and doing your work at school- I'm happy! However, when your daddy does your homework with you- you couldn't be more excited. I know you love me, but you love your daddy soooooo much. You love playing "Ninjago" and "Batman" with him. You have plenty of energy. You love playing outside. You love your best friend Owen. Your favorite color is green. Favorite shows are "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" -and "Ninjago". Like Emily, you also love your 3ds, which you got as a birthday present. You begged me to sign you up for t-ball, which starts soon. I am so excited for you and can't wait to watch! You are a typical boy....when I try to ask you how your morning at school was, it's like prying teeth! You give me a few tidbits of information and then tell me your too tired! Or that you'll tell me the rest "after wunch"..... I love you so much. You are so kind, funny, caring and handsome. I couldn't love you anymore than I already do. You are so special and I look forward to everything the future holds for our family!

Happy 7th Birthday Emily Rose!!!

Wow. It's hard to believe my little girl is 7 years old. Yes- 7!

Emily,

I love you so much. You are the best, kindest, funniest, prettiest little girl I know....I shouldn't say little girl because you have grown up so much since you started first grade. You are definitely sassier and developing your own opinions and ideas on things....which is (for the most part) good!!! You have a million questions, ALL THE TIME. You are becoming way too smart to trick anymore. I won't elaborate on that subject until you are older in case you have figured out how to read my blog entries....which I'm sure you have. You are very smart and always do awesome in school. You are a great reader and a lover of books. Your favorites right now are anything Dr. Seuss, Junie B Jones, and all of the "I can read books". Your favorite color is pink and your favorite show's are Ninjago and ICarly. Your 2 favorite things to do are play your "running game", which I also won't elaborate on because you will be very mad that I told everyone on blogger, and your other favorite thing to do is make books. You absolutely LOVE to make your books. And I love every.single.one. All 1,344,234 of them. I should also mention that you love playing on webkinz world and with your 3ds as well. You are quite a handful at times, but I wouldn't change you for the world!  I love you so much and love that you are getting older and we can do more things together. I'm sad to see you grow up so fast, but I'm glad that our relationship gets more awesome every day. You are my daughter and my best friend forever and ever. Happy Birthday, I love you with all my heart!!!

On the night before Em's birthday, while she was sleeping, I tied some balloons onto the end of her bed. I knew she would love this. What kid wouldn't love waking up to balloons on their birthday?! Thank you dear husband for going out at 9pm at night to retrieve said balloons!

I know I've missed many blogging opportunities...2 birthdays,  a holiday and some other random stuff. My camera is broken, won't turn on and is loaded with pictures. I think I need a new one finally, lol. I'll catch my posts up asap. Promise!

Alex's 1st School Play!

I'm way behind...A few weeks ago, Alex had his first school play. All the boys were Shepherd's and all the girls were Angels! They sang a bunch of songs and did little dances to go with each one. It was the cutest thing I ever saw! My favorite song they sang was, "This Little Light of Mine". I didn't take many pictures because they have someone there who records the whole thing and makes dvds for whoever wants one. But here are 2 pictures of the cutest little Shepherd you will ever see....

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...

I haven't forgotten about blogging. My computer and camera are both giving me the worst troubles. I only got to take about 3 pictures on Christmas Day. I was very upset. I have about three posts waiting to publish, but I have to get the pics in order. Hopefully, in the next couple of days I'll have this all done. It seems when Emily is off from school and Matt is off work, I tend to get a little lazy......I'd much rather be spending time with my loves than typing, transferring, uploading, etc.....I'm going to spend the last day with my kiddies now before 2 of them head back to school tomorrow....:(
