GOODBYE 2010 PART 1

JANUARY

We started 2010 with Emily turning 5 on the 19th and Alex turning 3 on the 24th.

Emily also lost her first baby tooth!

FEBRUARY

We celebrated Valentine's Day!

We played in the snow...

and in gift bags...

MARCH

In March, we played batman...

and enjoyed some St.Patricks Day donuts...

we also went to the parade!!!

APRIL

In April we had a visit from the Easter bunny...

dyed some Easter eggs with mom-mom,

and had Easter dinner at Grandmom and Grandpop's!!!

MAY

In May, Emily went to her first school friends birthday party, where she rode a pony for the first time!

We also found this bird nest before the mom even laid eggs in it and we checked it daily!!!

We played outside and at the park every chance we got!

JUNE

June was very special because Emily graduated from pre-k!!!

and we celebrated with a little party at the condo!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2010

No time to write a really long post because I'm still cleaning up wrapping paper, boxes, bows and trying to find places for all of the new toys!!! Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and healthy Christmas! I will also leave you with some of the outtake pictures from the Christmas cards. Enjoy!

I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP...

On blogging. My camera has started working again. (Well- somewhat. If I hold the battery door down whilst taking pictures, and if I don't move it a certain way.) My first post to come up possibly Monday will be Emily's first week of school! I know I am so far behind. There's been alot going on and we've been really busy! Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! Look for me again soon!

EMILY'S FIRST BIKINI...

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring Emily's bathing suit to mom-mom and pop-pop's, so we had to run out last night to get a new one. They only had one size 6 left and it was a bikini. Emily was thrilled about this! The bottoms were a tiny big, so mom-mom fixed them! Enjoy your weekends!!!

USE CAUTION...

When eating Totinos Pizza Bites.......I had just sat down after a long, tiring day. I was getting ready to watch a show I missed Thursday. I wasn't hungry, I just wanted a little snack- so pizza bites seemed like the perfect choice. After about 10 minutes, I took the burning hot, sizzling little morsels out of the oven. After another 10 minutes, I figured they were cool enough to eat. Unbeknownst to me, they were still the burning hot, sizzling little morsels they were when I first took them out of the oven. I bit into one and it was soooo hot I had to spit it out. Well, the cheese got stuck on my chin and burned a nice hole into it. I thought I was wiping said cheese off of my chin, but it wasn't cheese........IT WAS SKIN!!! Sorry for the gross images, but that is what happened. Moral of the story.....exercise EXTREME caution when eating pizza bites. They are dangerous, lol. And by the way- I never did get to see the latest episode of Jersey Shore either.

CAMERA TROUBLES...

I have not disappeared off the face off the earth. My camera is currently not working, and let's face it---- what is a post without pictures? I feel lost without my camera and I didn't feel much like blogging. That doesn't mean alot hasn't been going on, because ALOT has!!! Once I get home, I will try to post some videos to hold you all over until I figure out my camera situation!!! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

FALLING BEHIND...

Again....I am falling behind on blogging. I've been so busy with the kids. On July 20th, Nicky's actual birthday- mom-mom was kind enough to help me take the kids to Storybook Land. We had so much fun!!! We started on the opposite side of where we usually start with Daddy, so that we could get to the little splash park first, because it was sooo hot! Emily and mom-mom rode the roller coaster twice!!! We made it through the whole park and then the kids wanted to stop for some french fries......Then we headed through the gift shop and the kids each picked something. Thanks for coming with us mom-mom!!! On the way home, I was going to stop at an ice cream shop, but my neighbor said she would just make Nicky a cake so we could all sing happy birthday. She ended up getting adorable ocean cupcakes.....they were yummy. I do have pictures of him and his cupcakes, but they're on my neighbor's camera. I promise to get them soon!!! I would leave you with some old pictures, but unfortunately, my computer is not letting me open the needed folder. More posts/pictures to come soon---I'm still cleaning the aftermath of Nick/Matt's party yesterday...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY...

Happy 29th birthday to the best man in the whole entire world!!! I feel lucky to have had you in my life for the past 9 years. You are everything a father, husband, son and friend can be and more. The kids and I love you so much. Sorry you had to work today, but we're all excited to celebrate you and Nicky's birthdays this weekend. Thank you for being the person that you are. We love you daddy.

In other birthday news, I just put Nicky to bed a one year old and he's going to wake up a 2 year old!!! I must admit, I am currently feeling a little sad. I already told my internal clock to wake me up at 3:50am so I can go upstairs and kiss his little face a million times!!! I may not be able to post tomorrow because me and mom-mom are taking the little ones to storybook land for Nicky's actual birthday. Happy birthday to my biggest and littlest boys!!!
