Sorry kids, but alot has been going on and there hasn't been much time for a post. I don't even know where to start. I'll try to write as much as i remember and ill start with Nicky. A few weeks ago, Nicky was battling a fever of 103 degrees. He had no other symptoms, fever only. We tried tylenol, motrin, warm baths, and popsicles. He wasn't eating, but he was drinking his good old milk. Called the pediatrician monday and they said to bring him in. They checked him out and said it was slightly concerning that he had no other symptoms, so they sent us to the hospital for blood work to be done immediately. Drs say he had a virus, most likely roseola, because the morning after the fever broke, he had a rash covering his whole, tiny, little body.......poor thing. That being said, the rash doesn't cause any discomfort for baby at all. After a few days it was gone and then he had his 18 month well check. He only weighed 20lbs, (under 3 percentile), but he's always been little, plus he was just sick and not eating, but pediatrician ordered more blood work and a urine test. i have no idea how i'm going to chase around an 18 month old with a little bag to collect his urine in. that should be interesting. i guarantee that none will make it into the bag, but that's a whole other issue. so, then came the weekend, and i was going to wait until monday to get his blood work done. Matt had of friday and saturday. Saturday we decided to pack up and go to mom-mom and pop-pop's for bumper pool and poker. Then we were going to go home. The weather had another idea, and driving home wasn't an option, so we spent the night with mom-mom, pop-pop, uncle tators, and little andrew. it was a very fun night and the kids had a great time. They always do when they're there. so sunday after we got home i started to feel sick. If you're currently eating, step away from the computer!!! i got sick all night. i was sicker than i had ever been in my 26 years of life. i never want to feel that way again! so, i didn't sleep that night and the night before at mom-mom's alex didn't sleep and so i was basically up for 2 nights in a row and sick on top of it. matt stayed home the next day and i slept all day and all night. tuesday night around 6pm alex, started getting sick. he got sick until around 3am. every half hour he was up crying. once he stopped, emily started getting sick. and that's where im at right now. it's 3pm on wednesday. alex and emily have been getitng sick all day and have been really just laying around. i feel so bad for them. no one deserves to feel half of what i felt that night awful sunday night, especially my sweet little babies!!! i hope once they wake they feel better. im still not 100 percent, but a whole heck of alot better. i will be buying riteaid's entire stock of lysol and detergent, to clean and sanitize EVERYTHING in my house!!! so, theres more exciting emily news, but no time to write anymore. sorry this was soooo long. i also don't have time to read over it, so im certain it doesnt make sense. I will, however, leave you with some pictures. The first one is back when Nicky had his spots. The other ones are from today. i promise there are happier posts to come!!!
